CRAWFORD 'RED' JOSEPH LANDRY

July 23, 1938-November 11, 2015
Crawford “Red” Joseph Landry, a native of Lake Charles and a resident of Bayou L’Ourse, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015. He was 77.
Red leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 57 years, Barbara David Landry; four children, Lynn Landry, David Landry, Paula Landry and Rose Landry Charpentier and her husband, Mark; six grandchildren, Mitzi, Megan, Dallas, Justin, Taylor and Raylin; numerous great-grandchildren, Dre’, Larell, Laken, Kara and Ave; and three siblings, Jean Landry, Linda Faye and Margie Tarver.
He joins in heaven his parents, Crawford and Ella Landry; his brother, Floyd Landry; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Red took pride in being a dedicated employee of Halliburton for 23 years. He proudly served in the Louisiana National Guard. In his spare time, he enjoyed duck hunting, fishing and going to high school rodeos with his kids. Red served on the Assumption Parish Water Board for 12 years and was a proud resident of Bayou L’Ourse. He will be forever missed but never forgotten.
A visitation of remembrance will be held Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, from 10 a.m. until time of services at Hargrave Funeral Home. A rosary and memorial service will be held for Red at Saturday, Nov. 14, at Hargrave Funeral Home.
