DOROTHY ANN AHMAD

Dorothy Ann Ahmad, 57, a native of Morgan City and resident of Patterson, passed away Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, at her residence.
Dorothy was a loving mother, sister and friend. She showed kindness to everyone she met and made sure they felt comfortable. She enjoyed baking for family gatherings, listening to music, and made the best candies for all the holidays. Dorothy was such a jewel of a person and she will never be forgotten.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Kelly Lee Jr. and wife, Heather, of Ponchatoula; one brother, Euclide Legnon of Morgan City; four sisters, Betty Franklin of St. Amant, Mary Jane Comeaux of Morgan City, Peggy Boone of Berwick and Annabell Stevens of Berwick; two godchildren, Priscilla Lovell of Patterson and Elizabeth Legnon of Morgan City; a special friend, Michael “Coonie” Estell of Patterson; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her first husband, Kelly Lee Sr.; her husband, Dean Ahmad; parents, Nelia and Clarence Lee; one brother, Norah Legnon; two sisters, Gloria Horton and Rita Legnon; grandparents, Angelina and Honore Cavalier and Elizabeth and Richard Lee; along with her two four-legged children, Missy and Sidney T.
Visitation will be held today, Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, at Twin City Funeral Home beginning at 9 a.m. until time of service at noon. She will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the service.
