ERNEST JUNIOR VOISIN

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Patterson for Ernest Junior “Ernie” Voisin, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a 30-year resident of Berwick, who passed away at the age of 66 on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. Pastor Frank Pellissier will lead the celebration. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until 5 p.m.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Delia Williams Voisin; his three children, Ernie Voisin II and his wife, Viola, Rita Voisin Vinning and her husband Gordon, and James Voisin and his fiancé, Hannah Weeks; his mother, Octavia Voisin Holloway; one brother; four sisters; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Voisin; and three brothers.
