FRANKLIN JOSEPH CAVALIER JR.

May 24, 1954 — September 4, 2015
Franklin Joseph Cavalier Jr., a native and lifelong resident of Morgan City, passed away Friday, Sept. 4, 2015. He was 61.
Franklin enjoyed life and was known for loving gospel music, his church family, the Smoky Mountains, helping people and spending time with his grandbabies. Franklin worked for Pro-T as a fluid engineer for several years, was a past employee of Haliburton, and was the owner of Cavalier and Sons Grocery in Gibson.
Franklin is survived by his loving wife, Kelly Perez Cavalier; two stepsons, Rodney Marceaux and Bruce Norton; one stepdaughter, Angela Boudreaux; his mother, Virginia Arcemont Cavalier; one brother, Authur Cavalier; one sister, Evelyn Mosbroker; three grandbabies, Joselyn, Gabriella and Drake; and nieces, Kaitlyn, Neaven, Christan and Alania.
He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Joseph Cavalier Sr.; one brother, Melvin Joseph Cavalier; and one sister, Louella Cavalier
The family requests that visitation for Franklin be held today, Monday, Sept. 7, 2015, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home and again Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015, from 8 a.m. until time of services. Funeral services will take place Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 1 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home with Franklin being laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
