HARRISON ‘BIG JUNE’ FRANCIS JR.

Harrison “Big June” Francis Jr., 60, a resident of Farmington, NM and native of Franklin, passed away on Wednesday March 16, 2016 at 10:34 a.m., in New Mexico.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, March 26, at the Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin, from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. The Rev. Wallace Francis will officiate the services. Entombment will follow funeral services in the Mausoleum Section of the Franklin Cemetery.
Harrison’s family described him as a Loving Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend.
Memories of “Big June,” as he was known to many, will forever remain in the hearts of his nine brothers, Harold Francis (Peggy) of Fremont, CA; Samuel Francis (Carolyn), Raymond Francis (Bertha), Gerald Francis (Debra) and Daryl Wayne Francis (Tamara) all of Austin, TX; Herman Francis (Suzanne), Wallace Francis (Cheryl) and Willie Francis (Anne) all of Atlanta, GA; and Michael Francis (Linda) of Franklin; three sisters, Louise F. Pierre (Willard) of Baldwin; Octavia F. Bogen (Barry) of Houma; and Carol F. Maze (John) of Alexandria; one aunt; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Harrison was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
