LESTER DWAYNE THOMAS

Lester Dwayne Thomas, 41, a resident of Raceland, Louisiana, and native of Morgan City, Louisiana, passed at 2:46 a.m. Monday, Dec. 21, 2015, at the Ochsner St. Anne Hospital in Raceland.
Visitation will be observed from 9 a.m. Tuesday until the 1 p.m. funeral at Pilgrim Grove Baptist Church. The Rev. Harold Henderson will officiate. Burial will follow at the Morgan City Cemetery.
He is survived by a daughter, Lessix Thomas; one son, Rashaud Thomas; his loving mother, Joyce Skinner-Thomas; two brothers, Jason Thomas (Earlisha), all of Morgan City, and Sheldon Skinner of Lafayette; one sister, Leslie Skinner; his grandfather, Emanuel Skinner Jr., of Morgan City; four nieces; three great-nieces; six nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, paternal grandparents, maternal grandmother, five uncles, two aunts and one nephew.
