MARY ANN ALLELO

April 1, 1938-January 25, 2016
Mary Ann Allelo, 77, of Waxahachie, Texas, passed away Monday, Jan. 25, 2016, in Waxahachie. She was born to the late Cyrus and Iris Rockenbaugh Guillot on April 1, 1938 in Patterson, Louisiana.
Mary grew up and attended school in Patterson and graduated from Patterson High School. She attended college at Southwestern Louisiana Institute, now the University of Louisiana Lafayette.
She is survived by her sons, David Allelo and wife, Sue, of Waxahachie, Texas, and John Allelo of Bogota, Colombia; her grandchildren, Sarah Faust, Sam Allelo and Lucas Allelo, all of Waxahachie; her great-granddaughter, Elena Benitez of Waxahachie; four nephews, Alan Taylor and wife, Jennifer, of Patterson, Dean Taylor and wife, Jennifer, of Youngsville, Brad Taylor and wife, Karen, of Lafayette, and Ryan Taylor and wife, Michelle, of Patterson; and seven great-nieces and great-nephews, Amanda, Rebecca, Kendal, Lauren, Blake, Shelby and Ivy.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson. Family will receive visitors at the church at 9 a.m. until service time. A rosary prayer service will be recited at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, Feb. 13. Local arrangements were handled by the directors of Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie, Texas.
