MRS. MILDRED DIXON

Mrs. Mildred Dixon, 75, a resident of Franklin and native of Morgan City, died Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at 10:30 p.m., at Iberia Medical Center.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, Jan. 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Franklin.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 1 p.m., at that church, with the Rev. Noah Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Haywood Dixon of Franklin; two sons, Zachary Joseph Dixon (his wife, Rev. Holly) of Monroe and Kenneth Wayne Dixon (his wife, Patricia) of Randallstown, MD; one brother, Clarence Gray Jr. of Missouri City, TX; three sisters, Mrs. Hilda Gray Cage (her husband, Jonas) of Chicago, IL, Mrs. Barbara Gray Watson and Mrs. Jeanette Gray Price, both of Morgan City; and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
