Rena Fabre DeHart Deslatte

October 19, 1931 — December 20, 2015
Rena Fabre DeHart Deslatte, 84, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015, at Teche Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Rena was born on October 19, 1931, in Berwick, the daughter of Clement Fabre and Tilley Fromenthal Fabre.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters, Debbie DeHart Navarro and husband, Ricky, of Morgan City, and Glenda DeHart Rice and husband, David, of Houston; three sons, Pat DeHart and wife, Linda, of Morgan City, Rick DeHart and wife, Rebecca, of Pensacola, Florida, and Warren DeHart and wife, Challie, of Bayou L’Ourse; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Rena is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Elton DeHart; second husband, Allen Deslatte; two grandsons, Jason DeHart and Paul Rice; and 13 brothers and sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Noas Kerketta officiating. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. Following Mass, Rena will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
