ROBERT J. SOLAR

Robert J. Solar Jr., 64, a native of Morgan City and resident of Berwick, died at 5:01 a.m. Nov. 25, 2015, at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Rita P. and John Lafleur of Bayou Vista; two brothers, Guy Miller of Tennessee and Richard Solar of New Iberia; three sisters, Judy Miller of Indianapolis, Diane Miller Fears of Bayou Vista and Rosalie Solar LaSalle of New Iberia; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Solar Sr.; and his grandparents.
A memorial service will be held beginning at noon Thursday. Mass will be held at 1 p.m.
