ROGER DALE FABRE

May 14, 1949-January 25, 2016
Roger Dale Fabre, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, met his heavenly Father Monday, Jan. 25, 2016, at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma at the age of 66.
Roger leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 48 years, Debra Hebert Fabre; his two daughters, Robbie Fabre Gros and her husband, Bradley, and Tracey Fabre Gros and her husband, Ben; one sister, Frankie Fabre Hue and her husband, Alton; three grandchildren, Colby, Kalyn and Gracie Gros; and three great-grandchildren, Baileigh, Miyah and Easton.
He joined in heaven his parents, Milton and Teidi Fabre; one brother, Milton Fabre Jr.; and one sister, Wesley A. Broussard.
A hardworking man, Roger worked as a diesel mechanic, later working the waters while shrimping. As he grew older, he spent most of his time around his home and with his loved ones. Roger was a great dancer, loving music and rhythm. He will be forever missed but never forgotten by those who knew and loved him.
The family requests that visitation be observed Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and again Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, from 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home. Roger will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
