SANDRA PIERRE

The life of Sandra Pierre will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at 12 noon, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Charenton. She will be interred in the church cemetery. The Rev. Paul Godfrey will be officiating minister, with the Rev. Arnold Ray Joseph as eulogist.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 24, from 8 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
Sandra Pierre was born on September 3, 1959 in Lafayette, to Sadie B. Pierre and the late Edward Pierre Sr. Sandra was baptized at an early age by the late Rev. Johnny Carr.
Sandra had a very loving spirit and was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Sandra departed this life at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, surrounded by her family.
Sandra leaves to cherish her memory, her loving daughters, Tanique Boatman of New Orleans and Shakeydra Pierre of Baton Rouge; five grandchildren, Tisha Daniels, Jayvion Haynes, Jakeriya Pierre, Ariave’ Gilbert and Anthony Boatman; devoted companion, Joseph Boatman; two sisters, Audrey (Steve) Rambo and Josephine Pierre; two brothers, Reggie Pierre and Ronald Pierre (Myrna Hunt); two godchildren, Lovedishekia Stevenson and Tyriell Gant; and also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; one brother, Edward Pierre III; two sisters, Patrice Pierre Colt and Jerry Lee Pierre.
