WELDON WAYNE MILLER

Weldon Wayne Miller, 79, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Friday, Nov. 20, 2015, in his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on June 16, 1936, in Kilgore, Texas, the son of Cecil Miller and Jewel P. Miller.
Weldon was a devout Christian who served as a Deacon at First Baptist Church in Morgan City. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Weldon was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, who’s memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Myra Miller of Morgan City; three sons, Steve Miller and wife, Leah, of Berwick, Patrick Miller of Morgan City, and Mark Miller and wife, Pamela, of Morgan City; one daughter, Debbie Miller of Morgan City; one sister, Janet Maxwell of Ore City, Texas; 12 grandchildren, Lauren Miller, Jenna Oubre and husband Alex, Josh Miller, Devin Pittman and wife Kaitlin, Dylan Pittman, Dayna Miller, Kasey Kyprianou and husband Michael, Miles Miller, Emily Miller, Wesley Miller, Zachary Miller and Drew Miller; and great-granddaughter, Raylie Pittman.
Weldon was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Miller and Jewel P. Miller; and a brother, Wallace Miller.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015, from 10 a.m. until service time at First Baptist Church in Morgan City. A memorial service will begin 11 a.m.
