WILLIAM JOHNSON SR.

William Johnson Sr., 85, a native and resident of Morgan City, died Sept. 22, 2015 at 8:50 a.m. at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma.
Visitation will be held Thursday at 9-11 a.m. at the Otis Mortuary Chapel, with burial rites read at the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Berwick Cemetery.
He is survived by three sons, Donald Triggs of Patterson; William Johnson Jr. of Berwick; and Terry Johnson Sr. of Baton Rouge; five daughters, Harriet Hilliard, Myrtle Jennings, Carol Johnson and Theresa Johnson, all of Patterson; and Wilda Phillip Everly of Thibodaux; five step-daughters, Cheryl Johnson, Vanessa Garrison, Edwina Johnson, all of Berwick; Brenda Harris of Thibodaux; and Diana Gray of Patterson; three brothers, Alvin Johnson of Franklin; Leroy Johnson and Anderson Johnson II, both of Patterson; two sisters, Carrie Johnson of Patterson and Martha Chris of Houston, Texas; 43 grandchildren and 62 great-grandchildren.
Rev. W.J. Otis will officiate. The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
