Patterson High School clinched an outright District 9-3A title Thursday with a 41-6 victory against Franklin High School in Franklin. The Patterson Lumberjacks rolled past Franklin 41-6 Thursday en route to an outright District 9-3A title.

Central Catholic High School defeated Lafayette Christian, 17-7 Thursday in District 7-1A action in Morgan City. The Eagles’ Stefano Guarisco, above with the football, took over at quarterback for Blake Byrne after Byrne went out of the game with an injury, according to Central Catholic coach Tommy Minton. The Eagles will return to action Oct. 31 when they host Metairie Park Country Day

Central Catholic defeats Lafayette Christian, 17-7

Central Catholic honored its seniors before Thursday night’s game and head coach Tommy Minton said all of them contributed to the Eagles’ hard-fought 17-7 win against Lafayette Christian Academy.
