Stefano Guarisco took off offensively and the Central Catholic Eagles clamped down defensively to lead the Morgan City-based squad’s rally in the first half en route to a 54-27 victory Thursday.

Central Catholic High School defeated Ascension Episcopal 28-21 in District 7-1A action. The Eagles utilized both Stefano Guarisco and Tyler O’con in place of injured quarterback Blake Byrne.
