BATON ROUGE — As Louisiana gardeners anticipate warmer days and their first opportunity to get into the garden, the LSU AgCenter has announced the spring lineup of garden shows.

David and Donna Thibodaux received a Yard of the Month Award from Patterson Garden Club. The Thibodaux yard has a display of azaleas, agapanthus, periwinkles, Knockout roses and pentas.
The Patterson High School volleyball team hosted Thibodaux High Tuesday in a preseason scrimmage. The scrimmage was the second for the Lumberjills this preseason as they continue tuneups for their 2014 season. Patterson will participate in the Morgan City Volleyball Jamboree Thursday before opening its

The Berwick Lady Panthers bounced back from a tough weekend that featured two, one-run losses to record a 9-1 victory at Thibodaux Monday.
