The Berwick Panthers advanced to the final of Ascension Episcopal’s tournament with a 58-39 victory against previously undefeated Episcopal School of Acadiana Tuesday.

Morgan City High School started the J.P. Piper era on the right foot as the squad defeated Jeanerette, 84-69, on the road Monday in the Tigers’ season opener.
Central Catholic was represented on the All-District 7-1A first
team by junior Jalen Johnson.
