MISS DEBRA NELL SPAIN

Miss Debra Nell Spain, 50, a resident of Raceland and native of Lafayette, died Sunday, August 9, 2015, at 4 a.m., at her residence following a short illness.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, August 15, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Otis Mortuary, Inc. Chapel.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. James F. Otis officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery at 145 Prevost Road in the Ashton Community.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Harriet Spain of Franklin; two sons, Colby Leonard Spain and Jonah Tobiash Madison, both of Franklin; one brother, Timothy McCoy of California; five sisters, Miss Telsa Marie Spain and Ms. Stephanie Renee’ Spain, both of Franklin, Mrs. Michelle Patillo and Mrs. Shanelle Williams, both of Beaumont, TX, and Mrs. LaKeisha Augman of Patterson; and two grandchildren.
Miss Spain was preceded in death by her grandparents, her father, two uncles, two aunts and one niece.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
