HARRY LEE THOMAS
Harry Lee Thomas, age 68, a resident of St. Martinville, La. and a native of Shadyside, La. passed away on Thursday Sept. 24, 2015 at 5:30 a.m. at his residence in St. Martinville, La.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015 at Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main Street Franklin, La., from 11 a.m. until funeral service at 1 p.m. Bishop Alvin Davis will officiate the services. Burial with Military Honors will follow funeral services in the Nazarene Cemetery in Verdunville, La.
Harry was a veteran of the United States Army receiving Honorable Discharge.
Memories of Harry will forever be remembered and cherished in the hearts of his beloved wife, Nancy Marie Thomas of St. Martinville, La.; two daughters, Isabella White (fiancé’ Anthony Lang) of St. Martinville, La. and Jessie Mae Sandolph of Boutte, La.; a niece he helped to raise; four brothers, Wayne Thomas of Verdunville, La., Ricky Thomas of Centerville, La., Ron Hawkins of Wichita, KS, and John Hawkins of Amarillo, TX; three sisters, Margaret Faye Coleman and Greta Francis both of Baldwin, La. and Karen Gier of Bayou Vista, La.; four sisters-in-law; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, two sisters, a nephew he helped to raise, his father and mother-in-law, and one brother-in-law.
