Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Beatrice Mary Evans, 78, who passed away Monday, Feb. 8, 2016.
Pastor Randy Dugas of Our Savior’s Church will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Evans, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Theodore Thompson and the former Evelyn Legendre.
She is survived by her children, Dorian Evans and Rachel Evans; her grandchildren, Daniel Hargett III, Kristin Richard and her husband, Dexter, and Nicholas Hargett; a brother, David Thompson and his wife, Martha; and a sister, Lucy Falgout and her husband, Hillary.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Guy Evans; two brothers, Theodore Richard Thompson Jr. and Michael Joseph Thompson; and her sister, Ethel Marie Patrick.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
