ISAAC F. LUKE

Isaac F. Luke, a native and lifelong resident of the Centerville and Verdunville area, passed away at his home at the age of 87 on Monday, March 28, 2016.
Survivors include his children, Phyllis Luke, Cynthia Metts and her husband, Allen; Darran Luke and his wife, Tammy; and Keith Luke and his wife, Lisa; seven grandchildren, Dennes Powell, Katie Bannister, Amanda Freeman, Melanie Metts, Olivia Luke, Ryan Metts, and Sarah Luke; three great grandchildren, Bryce Powell, Gavin Powell and Adelyn Freeman; two brothers, Ralph and Farrell Luke; and one sister, Levenia Burns.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Champagne Luke; his parents, George A. Luke and Edonia DeRoche Luke; four brothers, Norman, John, Gilbert “Goat”, and Lloyd Luke; and one sister, Margaret Smith.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, March 31, at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held graveside on Friday, April 1, at 1:30 p.m., and conducted by Deacon Dwayne Joubert at St. Anthony Cemetery in Krotz Springs, where Mr. Luke will be laid to rest with his beloved wife.
