Lester Paul Duplechin

Lester Paul Duplechin, 61, a resident of Patterson, passed away Monday, Oct. 27, 2014, at Teche Regional Medical Center.
Lester was born on Sept. 10, 1953, in Eunice, the son of Duplecie Duplechin and Esther Darobonne.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by four children, Erica Stubbs and Francis Nichole Duplechin, both of Labadieville, Jared Duplechin, of Bayou Vista, and Brandon Martin, of Alexandria; six grandchildren; three brothers, Leonce Duplechine, of Kileen, Texas, Jerome Duplechine, of Eunice, and Richard Duplechine, of Riverside, California; three sisters, Dorothy Kimbell, of Patterson, and Wanda Jones and Vernita Ancelet, both of Sulphur.
Lester was preceded in death by his father, Duplecie Duplechin; mother, Esther Darobonne Foreman; one son, Shawn Martin; and two sisters, Louelle Suarez and Becky Pago.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
