Central Catholic girls basketball standout Randi Brown wanted to stay near home to play college basketball and the University of New Orleans offered her that opportunity to do so.

Central Catholic finished the girls’ basketball season on top of the Class 1A ranks earlier this month, winning the school’s first-ever Class 1A girls’ basketball title.
