Central Catholic held off a huge last inning rally by Berwick for a 9-7 victory in a nondistrict game at Berwick Tuesday.
The Patterson Junior High School softball team won the parish softball tournament this past weekend. Patterson finished the tournament with a 5-1 mark. Patterson defeated Hanson, 7-2, Morgan City, 8-6, fell to Central Catholic, 12-5, defeated Berwick, 7-5, and then beat Central Catholic in consecutive games by
