After nearly a point drop in mandated ACT scores last school year, St. Mary Parish public school educators are using a series of pre-tests to devise a plan to raise the scores.

A policy approved Thursday gives students at schools with a School Performance Score of D or F the choice of which school to attend under certain parameters.
Beginning with Thursday’s meeting of the St. Mary Parish School Board, all agendas and supporting materials for the meeting will be online.
