Berwick, Central Catholic and Patterson high schools competed in a Southwest acadiana high school meet Tuesday.

Morgan City High School defeated Patterson High School 3-1 (24-26, 25-9, 25-18, 25-19) in both teams’ District 6-III opener Tuesday.
