Patterson has ratcheted up the intensity with its District 8-3A opener looming Friday against Kaplan in the Sugar Dome.

The Morgan City High School Tigers defeated Kaplan, 42-25, in nondistrict action Tuesday.

Kaplan used a big fourth quarter to rally past Morgan City, 35-32.
Trailing 28-22 entering the fourth, Kaplan outscored Morgan City 13-4 in the final period to secure the win.
