Jennings and his teammates from Conrad I, Carl Hebert and Taylor Jennings, finished first in the first flight of the
tournament with a score of 60. They won a scorecard playoff.

Morgan City High School swept a District 7-4A doubleheader with Ellender in two run-rule games in five innings Thursday. The Tigers won the first game 12-2 and followed it up with a 22-0 win.
