'Jills defeat Donaldsonville in four games on Tuesday

The Patterson Lumberjills won their seventh straight contest with a 3-1 (25-7, 22-25, 25-16, 25-21) victory against Donaldsonville in District 6-III action Tuesday.

The Patterson Lumberjacks won their fourth straight contest this season with a 45-13 victory against Donaldsonville Friday. The contest was the Lumberjacks’ District 9-3A opener. Above, Patterson’s Mykel Jones catches a pass for a touchdown, while Donaldsonville’s Cardell Forcell defends. Jones led the Patterson receivers with nine catches for 166 yards and four touchdowns.

What looked early like it could be a high-scoring, barn burner ended up being a one-sided rout as Patterson opened District 9-3A action at home Friday with a 45-13 win against Donalsonville.
