'Jills defeat Donaldsonville in four games on Tuesday

The Patterson Lumberjacks won their fourth straight contest this season with a 45-13 victory against Donaldsonville Friday. The contest was the Lumberjacks’ District 9-3A opener. What looked early like it could be a high-scoring, barn burner ended up being a one-sided rout as Patterson opened District 9-3A action at home Friday with a 45-13 win against Donalsonville.

The Berwick Lady Panthers knocked off the Morgan City Lady Tigers 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-17) in District 6-III action Tuesday.
Berwick had four blocks and 53 digs in the victory.
