For the Morgan City High School softball program, the first-round of the Class 4A playoffs has been a nightmare.
Morgan City High School’s Brandi Ingram will be headed to Grambling State on a softball scholarship.
She also will walk on to the volleyball team.
Morgan City High School capped its regular season with a 5-3 win against Ellender in Morgan City.
All games Tuesday were wiped out due to inclement weather, and one today has been cancelled while another, postponed.

Berwick High School softball player Shelby Bergeron didn’t mince words when describing her experience with softball as youngster.
“Growing up, playing it, I was terrible,” she said.
