The Morgan City girls’ bowling team started off their season with a 21-6 victory against Vandebilt Catholic, the 2014 girls’ state runner-up.
The Morgan City Tigers’ and Lady Tigers’ soccer teams fell to Vandebilt Catholic in District 7-II action Tuesday.
The Morgan City Lady Tigers dropped their first District 7-4A contest of the season to Vandebilt Catholic, 45-32, Friday.
Central Catholic High School finished 0-3 this weekend at Vandebilt Catholic’s Jack Becker Classic with a loss Friday to Terrebonne, while the team fell Saturday to Vandebilt Catholic and Houma Christian. Morgan City High School fell to Vandebilt Catholic in Houma Friday, 55-26. After stalling on its first drive, the Terriers scored on eight consecutive offensive possessions to overcome a 7-0 deficit and take control of the game.
