Central Catholic High School fell to Central Lafourche 3-2 (15-25, 18-25, 28-26, 25-14, 12-15) in volleyball action Tuesday. Quincee Wiggins, above on defense, led the squad with 12 kills and 15 digs. The Lady Eagles will return to action today when they host Lutcher. Junior varsity action is set for a 4:30 p.m. start with varsity to follow. (The Daily Review/Geoff Stoute)

Berwick High School defeated Central Lafourche in Berwick Tuesday 3-1 (25-17, 18-25, 25-19, 25-20). Berwick (1-1) will continue its regular season action Thursday when it opens play in Assumption’s tournament.
